Petrified Me
If petrified, would
would you see
where it goes?
The Petrified in thee?

Proceed with caution
Those words we spoke
Yours however made me choke
Your head feels the same
but "the heart just knows"
Your beauty internal, now it shows.

Deliciously different, you always astound
Not even close to 'settling down'
Vibrant, vivacious, alluring indeed
Asking myself again, proceed?

Shall I continue along this path?
My fear subdued except His wrath
Accept His path, but where's it lead?
Journey enjoyed, no destiny

The destination revealed in time
Hoping yours the same as mine
Mind, body, heart. All three
petrified by?
