Facial Hair?.....Don't Despair!

Strange things happen as you age,
your hormones mutate at some stage.
The most pathetic loss of grace,
is when little hairs begin covering your face.

Those youthful tresses may start to thin,
and reappear on your chin.
Notice a decrease in those eyelashes,
they’ll probably return as mustaches.

Next, your eyebrows begin to stray,
seeking those nose hairs with which to play.
That downy fuzz popping out on your cheeks,
can make you feel tearful and bleak.

But ladies, don’t look so sad,
facial hair doesn’t have to be bad.
Take advantage, don’t feel blue,
make that hair work for you.

Yearning to hit the slopes at last,
you have an organically grown ski mask.
The sun and wind will no longer chafe,
because of that hair growing on your face.

Feeling old and plain, then tint that hair,
you now have a face with renewed flair.
Let the color express your mood,
your face you no longer have to seclude.

Did you get the haircut from hell,
walk backwards, and no one can tell.
No need for those spaghetti or lobster bibs,
your facial hair will catch those dribs.

Let this be a well learned lesson,
never lose your self-expression.
Don’t relegate yourself to the back row,
there are still plenty of wild oats you can sow.
