Death
This poem was inspired by my loved one's death.

Death comes when we least expect it.
It happens to strangers and those we love.
It makes our soul an endless pit.
It rips the wings from the peaceful dove.
It hides in every shadow,
Waiting for you to come by.
Ready to strike with it's piercing bow.
Will you be ready, when you die?
