Broken Heart
just a poem i wrote...

I placed my heart in a box
and the box into the sea;
then I slashed the sea with my hands
so that the box would shatter.

My hands are covered with blood
from the red of my broken heart,
and it runs down my fingers,
staining them forever.

A breeze blows nearby,
the sun fades in the distance,
and in the depths of the water
my heart stops beating.

Emptiness takes over me
and with first feels of panic,
the sea continuously blows around
as if ignoring my pain.

The pain so deep, so dark
like screams neverending
My dreams, my words unfathomable
as they pierce into the night.

I thought everything would be perfect
and I wouldn't be able to feel,
not be hurt by anyone anymore
yet my heart's in the sea--broken.
