Firedrake
My falling star

Avg Rating: (2)
You streak through the early morning sky,
Still dark with the rememberance of night.
Yet growing ever brighter with the coming of the light,
I watch as you quickly pass by.

Awestruck as I watch, your show ends in a seconds time.
A thin vapor trail remains, proof of your passing.
Still your beauty in my minds eye is everlasting.
Your movements come and go with the cosmic tide.

You are the seed from which we were born,
Stardust fell, planting life on our Earth, our Mother.
Heat was sent from our Father Sun, together they mixed,
It was the beginning of a new dawn.

Bursting with life, from you Firedrake.
We honor you as you fall through space.
Reseeding us, adding to our life.
Design us anew once again, from your life, we take.
