Success
Keys, ladders, smoke and mirrors

Success - The key to it all,
climbing that ladder.
Attaining your goal,
rising to the top.
Growing with the company,
grabbing that brass ring.
Success - Smoke and mirrors,
unlocking the rusted squeeking door of success is all too often like opening Pandoras' box,
or a foul smelling mausaleum.
Climbing that ladder,
it is so easy to slip and fall when the rungs are blood covered knives in the backs of others.
Your goal - The one of many before you!
Where are they?
In some heaven at the top of many tops?
In a high cloud covered falacy?
Where the pit holes and trap doors are covered with intoxicating smoke,
or below in some losers' hell of want-to-bes, has-beens, and should-have-beens?
Rising to the top like some putrid cream seaping through rotted corpses.
And skeletons peering from thier closets yet to be unvailed.
Growing with the company - Shrinking with humanity.
Beware as you grasp the brass ring,
the house of cards you stand on, you have built.
All paper burns.
The chared hideous creature reflecting in the mirror is you.
