Fine Lines
Take my hand, turn it over, trace fine lines Open your eyes, wider into mine, dispel doubt. I am as human as he or she or it. Put your ear here, listen. A drum, quickening Feel it rise and fall, Synchronized breaths, We are the same. Rise from my side, Hear the satiated sigh, Silence your head, From a whispering recollection of touch, The Trembling fine lines, between your hand and mine
