"Angel By My Side"
(started 1/6/01. finished 1/17/01 -- 17 years old) How lucky I am to have you An angel by my side A friend who means the world to me A friend who sees inside I've shared with you my troubles And you have shared yours, too. I've confided all my "stuff" And was supported just by you. I see it in your eyes And I hear it in your voice: You care and are concerned for me. I understand that that's your choice. Thank you; you're appreciated. I love you; you're so kind. When I opened my eyes in the darkness You, my angel, I did find. ********** This was included in the 2001 edition of Labyrinth, my school's literary magazine.
