Start with a circle, then add a square,
A few more lines and you've got some hair. He needs some feet and a couple of hands, This poor guy's made of rubber bands! Scribble, squiggle, jot it down, Two eyes, a nose, and look -- a clown! Add lots more hair, remove the hat, Draw a tail, and presto! -- a cat! Let's make him wave - just flip the pages, Cartoons have made me giggle for ages! Drop a bomb, blow him up, YUCK! His tail is in my cup! Get an eraser, that tail is gone, Shorten his legs, they're far too long. Erase the whiskers, add a hat, Remove some hair and look, no more cat! Some paint to the cheeks, a few lines on the face, A cartoonist's mind is a wonderful place. But for now I must say au revoir, farewell, While I fish some paws from my inkwell!
