As I intone God's Most Great Name
As I intone God's Most Great Name,
I want His glory to acclaim,
To spread abroad the awesome news,
His love will heal hate's dreadful bruise,
And take away sin's scarlet shame.

To save humanity he came,
Thus my spirit is set aflame,
And God's beauty becomes muse,
As I intone.

Each time I chant God's sacred name,
I want to spread abroad his fame,
And to the world His words diffuse,
Into each soul true faith infuse,
So that each day God's love proclaim,
As I intone.
