The Rays of My Love

As the sun glides across the afternoon sky, he is distracted,
By your laughter, which makes the darkest of shadows disappear,
By your voice, which soothes the howling four winds,
By your inner beauty, which enriches all that is close to you.

He makes his presence known, demanding that your eyes acknowledge him,
To peer into the blaze of an intense need, existing since the beginning of time.
Slipping behind a lifeless tree, casting its silhouette across your twinkling eyes.
He allows you to see to the depths of his soul, to see all that he has ever been.

Trillions of miles he’s traveled, to touch you with all that he is.
You writhe during the foreplay, his warmth and light are like fingers, existing only for you.
They travel your body, guided by your thoughts and excited by your responses.
A passing cloud blocks his vision, and is burned away by his unquenched sexual hunger.

He caresses you with his desire, appreciating every part of your body,
Letting his pulsing presence radiate through every nerve and muscle,
Filling your mind with peace and your heart with an endless love,
And melting your ache into an indescribable wave of pleasure.

He resists the journey’s end, wanting still to gaze at your beauty.
Releasing his emotions, as he is slowly pulled below the horizon,
He shoots forth his final rays, filling you up with a passion to split the heavens,
Entrusting you to savor and cherish them until he is with you again.
