it's sad

Shut Up


close your mouth
close your eyes
duck your head
try to hide
hold yourself
rocking slow
wish for a place
that you could go

now cover your ears
shut out the screams
try to escape
from this nightmare dream

a silence passes
the screaming is done
you chance a sigh
but not so cocky
you have not won
the silence was only
the calm
before the storm

and now you're gonna get it
