Hello stranger,
I know you.
We have talked,
And walked together.
Laughed and cried.
You made a mistake in leaving,
You should have stayed.
You wish you would have,
Don’t you?
You missed me growing up,
You missed my life.
Now that you’re back,
I don’t know if I can stand it.
You left when I needed you the most,
And now you’re just a face in the crowd.

My father and I have not spoken since i was 12 in 2000. I wrote this when I was going through a tough time comeing to realize that he hurt me by not being part of my life.
