Dreams

“Give me your dreams” a voice from the shadows called
“And I will spin and weave with them and build a castle wall
The wall will be firm and strong and towering up into the sky”
And in there you will feel safe and sheltered
But alas from these walls you’ll not fly.

And as you move from day to day with things going on all around
You fail to hear just for a moment that small little sound
It’s the sound of a key turning, in a door
This key that keeps you trapped within
While your dreams lie on the floor

“Give me your hand” says the man with laughter in his eye
“And lets us go hand in hand and share your dreams on high
For these dreams within, I know them well in fact I put them there.
Safe within your heart,
I knew with them you’d take care”

“So come up higher look up towards the sky
I will show you things unknown and teach you how to fly
So together lets go and fly fast happy and with glee
Never mind the locked door for no door is barred to me”

Let me explain this the first man is Satan who will trap you with his promises while the second man is Jesus who’s only heart is to set you free so that together you can share in his promise.
