Midnight Car Ride
car ride thrill while tempting death to take us...

Speed…
We tempt Death as we speed around the curves…
Acid rock blares through the open windows…
We taunt Her while passing cars, speeding down deserted roads…
Towards the empty darkness ahead…
Yellow lights are barely seen…
Red lights are a slight bother as we pause then speed past…
One…
Two…
Three…
We are the youth of freedom…
The blood of the Earth…
Cares tossed to wind as we sit outside the window of the speeding car…
The wind blowing furiously through our hair…
A sweet smelling haze floats from the car as our sarcastic laughter fills the air…
We flip off Death and dare Her to try and catch us…
At that moment we have no worries…
No cares…
No bothers…
No rules…
No laws…
Just us and Death in a deadly game of chicken.
