I start running, making a wish Attracted to the whirl & swish And swish & swirl, tantalizing twirl Attached to this sweats-clad girl Lashing lazily in eternal figure eight Driving me crazy as she jogs straight Her eyes intent, pony-tail awhirl I'm hypnotized as I chase this girl My heart thumps dumbly as my feet pound After locks golden and brown, both bound Counting aloft in weaving pattern infinite I follow behind, mesmerized, lost in it Despite my longing, my lungs deflating I fall behind in pain, hyperventilating For a beauty no other nature can match Waving goodbye from a girl I can't catch
