"Mommy, My Love"
(started 10/13/01 -- 17 years old, finished 10/31/02 -- 18 years old)

Mommy come hold me.
Don't let me go.
I'm scared and I'm frightened.
What to do, I don't know.

I'm here for you, honey.
By you I will stay.
I love you so much.
So glad I found you today.

At first I was angered -
Why did you come?!?
But now I am grateful.
Now I feel loved.

I have always loved you
But you couldn't see.
There was hate from yourself,
So how could there be love from me?

You understand!
How is that so?
The things that I feel,
Is it something you know?

Darling, my angel,
I've been where you are.
And I know with my heart
That, like me, you'll go far.

But, how can I be
Anything but wrong?
I've never been good -
Not for so long!

Honey, you're wonderful
Just being true.
You're my sweet angel -
I can't live without you.

Mom, I feel faint -
I'm losing more blood.
Please don't leave me! -
I need this last hug!!

Angel of mine,
I'll stay by your side.
I just wish I had known
Of the pain you had inside.

Mom, I'll be gone soon.
I know I will die;
My strength is leaving,
But, yet I still try.

I can see you are fighting
And know the docs here are, too.
Just know, if anything, hon
That I deeply love you.

Thank you, my mom
And your love is returned.
I know that these are
My last words here on Earth.

Baby, Baby...
I can't utter a sound;
I'm all choked up

*BEEEEEEP* Not that sound!!!!!

I don't get to see her
In person each day,
But her spirit lives on -
Never going away!
