he's the one who'll leave behind his family, all for the sake of duty, knowing that by the time he gets back, his unborn child might be talking...

she's the nurse who sits by as people die...and eases their passing a bit...
she's the one who dressed up as a man..so she could fight as well...
she's the next joan of arc, off to war to save that which she loves...

the average soldier doesn't look like anyone
the average soldier looks like everyone
the average soldier isnt a man, or a woman
the average soldier is both
the average soldier was drafted
the average soldier signed up, because he dreamt of it when he was a kid
the average soldier is you...and me...
