THIS IS YOUR BRAIN Inside your skull the brain resides compactly resting, securely nesting waiting for a call. It makes ready every day to fit you for tomorrow,for pain or sorrow or to attend the ball. Imagine there is a little room within the brain where workers strain to put the rules in folders, And catalog the memory in drawers with files and mark the styles and keep them all in holders. This fantasy explains the function of each junction of the neuron. Think not of blood or pathways or drawings in the books. See,instead, neat rows of hooks to hang the meanings on.
