A Necklace of Haiku
------------------ 1. The tide roared in over a million golden dreams the moon wore a veil. 2. The mighty river plunged the Himalayan gorge Rocks were unmoved. 3. Her lilting melody the fragrance of white jasmine expands my being. 4. The summer sun burns through the desert dunes The yellow lizard stares. 5. The snow peak towers over the lone trekker's quest Abode of the Gods. 6. He searched in vain for the snow leopard in winter He found himself.
