Footsteps on wet cement,
Fresh where they lay; Memories of the path I chose, Will never fade away. Just old feelings, To remind me of where I’ve been; Footsteps left behind, To remind me of what I’ve seen. I will never forget you Or all you’ve done for me. You will forever be in my heart, You’re where home will always be. A road that’s been mapped out, To point me the way home; These footsteps are my comfort, Telling me I’ll never be alone.
