Paper Cards and Midnight Dreams
A Family Christmas

Paper Cards and Midnight Dreams

Paper cards
And evergreens,
Fresh cut wood
And snowy scenes

Grandma visits,
And uncle Lou,
Carols chime
And bells do too

Fears subside
And hopes do rise,
And a tear or two
In Mommy’s eyes

Late night gifts,
Paper, ribbon torn
Lively children,
Parents worn

A gift for Dad,
A tie, that’s nice
And time enough
To skate the ice

Paper cards
And evergreens
Fresh cut wood
And midnight dreams
