Queen of the Cello
Kinda funny poem about how much I love the cello...

Bow down to me mere mortals
For I am the Queen of the Cello
Playing hard pieces with the greatest of ease
Cello strings-better than piano keys!

Flight of the Bumblebee?
Ha! That piece is nothing to me!
Russian Sailors Dance?
Doesn't make me wet my pants!
Shostakovich; whew, what a name!
A great musical writer,
Despite his lack of fame!

You think you can compete with me?
When I play the cello most greatly?
The best cello player ever!
I bet you think I'm clever!

I rule the musical universe
In a Cello playing contest, I'd surely win 1st!
You think you are as good as me?
But I declare! It cannot be!
For I am the Queen of the Cello
Bow! Bow to me!

I know this sounds really strange,
And you probably think that I'm deranged.
But I will swear to you
Just like I always do;
That I love to do this oh so much!
I feel the music with every touch

Cello playing makes me fly!
Even higher than the sky!
Oh would it give me such a thrill,
To save the world with but a trill.
Alas, it will not happen,
And my title shall suffice.
I am the Queen of the Cello,
So you had better be nice!
