A Warm December Night
Giggling fills the air As we play hide-and-seek without hiding places Slipping apart till we’re invisible In the light of only stars. Linked tight by voices and laughter They will remember scooting down the plastic slide In the spooky dark. If the price of admission is longing A better bargain was never struck for joy.
