Looking backward and finding
myself being chased by tomorrow, Unsettled realizations birthed by this change of circumstance. Always the tiger, never the doe Tomorrow's hunter was I, Grasping, grabbing, rending Bloodbathed in a success pool. Be I two steps slower or my heart's fire cooled with time, Tomorrow approaches earnestly, and the world of prey numbers one more. Caught, but not caught Now content to wrestle with today Focus no longer askance Challenge enough, here and now.
