All these years, yet you look the same.
I know your face and lament your name. You are the man who gave me life. You came, then went and gave me strife. I touch your picture, I want to know If you knew me today, would you love me so? Would you say you're sorry? Would you hold me near? Would I want you to, or would I know more fear? I think of you often, my father unknown. Why did you leave me so alone? Why didn't you protect me, and stop the pain? Why must I relive it all over again? You let another be father to me. The father that you could never be. But he didn't love me, he's just like you. He was there in flesh but he left me too. No hugs, no kisses, no welcoming heart. And so much neglect, I fell apart. Yours and Mom's and the other Dad's too. You all made mistakes and I'm the proof. I'm the spawn of all your sins. I exist and no one wins.
