_______________________________

They trode the path before you
Through trails of fire and storm
They chose the uncertain route before you
And new vistas were born

Many a time they failed, before you,
Believed in that whose time had come
None to show the path, not you,
The frontiers were battled and won

None of the glitz,fame,fortune befell,
Cold and ice they strongly braved
Boldly they rode through rivers of hell
For that germ, that creation they craved

More foes than friends they had,not you,
Facing insurmountable odds
Chip,Chip,Chip away in quiet despair
Till someone gave a supercilious nod

Honor them that showed the path before you
They journeyed to Him, through their work
He honors you, as you honor them
When you tread that path in the dark
