Life Goes On
Life goes on through small things, but the bigger events leave questions

A three year old,
falls down outside.
His knee is scraped,
Life goes on.

A five year old,
heads off to school.
A little scared, but,
Life goes on.

A twelve year old,
gets in a fight.
His first black eye,
Life goes on.

A first girlfriend,
in seventh grade.
The love ends,
Life goes on.

A first school play,
he's the star.
What a triumph,
Life goes on.

Highschool graduation,
big party afterwards.
The drugs and alcohol go around,
Does life go on?
