A Man Among Men He cast a long shadow where ever he'd walk. People would listen when ever he would talk. A gentleman willing to give love from his heart. To all his friends or a stranger from the start. He assumed the best in each person he met. Loving thoughts filled his mind without regret. Any better man to this day I have yet to meet. My dad taught me honesty without any deceit. This man among men I am proud I can say. Spoke of God and to Him he'd always pray. I was blessed to have known him fifty years. His back was weak but he never shed tears. The father of ten was this man among men. I'm proud to have been the oldest son of ten. God called him home one night in his sleep. He now lives in heaven his soul God keeps. I have his responsibilities as the oldest son. But, his big shoes can't be filled by anyone. Bravery he displayed at Normandy,France. My Dad was a hero God gave him a chance. I found out to late how brave he really was. He deserved all my respect and all my love. My Dad never expected more than he gave, I have not known any other man as brave. BY: Kings
