Night and day I think of you
My dear friend I could talk to you about anything, Everything, And I did. I did not realize until now, That my feelings towards you changed, Someway, somehow I looked into your eyes A beautiful deep sea of brown And my feelings changed Someway, somehow I looked away quickly, As if to avoid seeing only friendship there Afterwards I realized that The way you look at me Changed along the way. Looking deeply into each other's eyes, Searching for who knows what, A feeling perhaps? Night and day I think of you Your deep, intense brown eyes That searched inside of me Something so piercing and intense Yet practical... So practical always, My dear, dear friend, My dear, dear love.
