This poem came about after a horrible chain of events in my own life...

Anger, humiliation
Feelings kept inside...
(I won't tell if you won't)
Watching parents fight
Your world collapses
(I won't tell if you won't)
Your boyfriend leaves
Regret, reject
(I won't tell if you won't)
Best friendships fall apart
Feelings pull you apart
(I won't tell if you won't)
Then it comes...
The end is near
(I won't tell if you won't)
Shouts and screams
You rip at the seams
It's done!
It's done!
Everything is gone
And now...
There are no feelings at all
(And yes...
I didn't tell,
But you did.)
