Young Dreams And Old Visions

I see these visions from my past,
I sleep in the dreams they cast.
My relatives are on the other side,
Best friends have followed behind.

They do things I have seen before,
Are my visions a part of growing old?
Are they a premonition of my future?
Do my visions mean my days are few?

Maybe a sign to change how I live,
Young men shall dream dreams.
Old men shall see haunting visions.
Young men live in dreams of future.
Old men live in the their past times.

Through experience we gain wisdom.
Those who remember are very wise.
If things occur they're not surprised.
Accepting all happenings in stride.
