Somewhere In Time
By
La Belle Rouge

Somewhere in the whirlwind of days
He waits for me, as I for him
Somewhere in time waits my soul mate,
Lover, most treasured eternal friend.
As I live my days here,
Does he live out his there
Waking and sleeping, dreaming of me
But not understanding where
To find the one who walks through his dream
Only love who will ever completely be one
With his heart, soul and body in time’s eternal scheme?

Somewhere in time, will I find him, and he me?
Will sleepers wake from sweetest dream
Finding time and space no longer to be
A barrier they can never traverse
An obstacle impervious to love’s longings
A passing dream at best, an unreality at worse?
Somewhere in time will I take his hand?
In the future or past will I hear his voice?
Somewhere in time will I at last understand
Why we have no generational choice,
Why I feel so alone in this present land?

Somewhere in the maze of my life
The end of the labyrinth of days
Will he at last come into sight
And at the end of yearning confusion will be
The endless love of the one
Whom I search for, who is shadowing me
Will our lips touch, at last bodies and souls entwine
Somewhere in time?

Mystic Search
By
La Belle Rouge

Over eons of ebbing, flowing eras
He searched

Through darkened unknown corridors of time
His footsteps echoed

Azure pools of longing overflowing
Cascades of salty tears

He gazed into a thousand thousand eyes
Searching for one pair

Emptiness and absence of recognition
Staring blankly back

If only one glimpse be granted of her
Pale luminous orbs

He would know her, his only beloved
So He searched

Hoping he had discovered her, aching to believe
Seductive illusory eyes

Deceitful lips of red passion claiming
His frustrated desire

Life force and passion used up and discarded
He continued to search

Tender heart wounded, gentle soul crushed
In hopelessness of searching

Would he find mystic fire, ancient eyes of love
Perhaps on next cryptic path?

Incomplete without her touch, kiss, companionship
Searching for soul bond's perfection

Through his yearning pain, driving desire
He will search not ceasing

One cherished glimpse of her pale luminous orbs
His search will end at last

Another Time, Another Place
By
La Belle Rouge

Across the miles
And the years of time
I found your heart
And you found mine.
I knew it was you
Though I know not how
Our love is unchanged
From then to now!

I remember the nights
Lying face to face
I gazed into your eyes
In another time and place.
You held me close
And kissed my lips
I traced your face
With loving fingertips.

The touch of your hands
The sound of your voice
The sweetness of your love
Left me no choice,
I'd never love again that deep,
So I held you tight
And shared your love
Each night in my sleep.

There were others
Who wanted me to give,
What I can not
As long as I live,
For my heart is forever
Entwined with yours
In other times
On distant shores.

And though barriers
Of miles and years
Remain unyielding
To my tears,
I live in hope
Of a life with you
And that walls will crumble
For a love this true!

Though impossibilities
Won't let you be real
For my lips to kiss
And my arms to feel,
My Darling, we're still
Lying face to face,
In another time,
Another place!

I’ve Loved You Forever
By
La Belle Rouge

I loved you before I knew you
Are you only a beautiful dream?
My soul joined completely with yours
Without so much as a seam

Hot fire in the depths of your eyes
Has ignited the flame in mine
With impassioned gazes of love
Through countless years of time

I have lain with you in a palace
Incense and music moving my soul
Loved in summer moonlight meadows
By flaming hearth on nights so cold

I loved you before I knew you
In my dreams you speak and live
With mystic words of wisdom
Your forever love to me you give

I know the scent of your skin
The silky softness of your hair
Though I may not yet remember
How or when or where

Memory of your kisses thrills me
At your voice my heart skips a beat
Remembering nights of love
Days of companionship sweet

I loved you before I knew you
Yet I’ve known you time and again
In myriad of forms and fashions
With the faces of different men

Through windows of your soul
Revealed a warm familiar light
Connecting with the glow in mine
And ending a long cold night

I’ve loved you forever Darling
Known the greatness of your soul
Waited patiently for your love
As our destiny at last unfolds

Who Am I?
By
La Belle Rouge

I am Nile breezes, ancient music, swaying hips
Swishing sound of gossamer sheer garments
Bronzed satin flesh, hair of midnight silk
Eyes of dark secret unfathomable emerald depths
Delicate hands that anoint you with oil of myrrh
Smooth length of legs that surround you
As I enfold you in mysteries of my love
Capturing your heart, transcending time
I kiss the golden scepter, I am giver and object of
Worship in the palace of the Great Pharaoh

I am Ladydove of incomparable beauty
Jade pools of wanton pleasure beckon
From smooth angelic face promising…….
Red bow lips offer tribute of love to My Champion
My token of lace carried next to your heart
Perfumed by the sweetness of my bosom
My promise steeling your determination
My passion fueling your sword
I am your reward for enemies vanquished
Smooth bare alabaster skin, silk of red hair
Caressing you, I enfold you in the mysteries of my love
Your heart is at home, transcending time

I am rushing river and flight of hawk
Scent of fallen leaves and unspoiled air
Bronzed skin and hair as dark as the blue-black
Canopy of midnight sky, where we lie together
At one with nature and each other
No fear or chains to spoil the simple beauty
Of our lives and love flowing free
All this land, as far as our eyes carry
Ours to roam and worship our Great Spirit
Communing with all life as free as we
My skillful ways of love, envelope, ignite you
Your heart takes flight, transcending time

I am flowing silks and rustling petticoats
Days of grace and magnolia blossoms
I am the object of your love, the honor you defend
Verdant orbs of luminous fire
Visible above the fluttering silk fan belie
The decorous demure manner of Southern Lady
Red curls invite your fingers to loosen and caress them
As they fall on bare porcelain shoulders
I am cricket sounds and haloed moons
Soft velvet dark gardenia nights of love
Unlaced and unashamed, I enclose you in my love
Your heart forever mine, as we transcend time
