Mommy Come home

Dear Mommy,
Why did you go away and leave me? Don't you love me anymore? Why didn't you take me with you? I promise I would have been good, daddy says I'm always good, and you didn't leave because of me, he said it got to be to much and you just couldn't take it anymore, he said you stayed as long as you could and that I shouldn't be mad at you, but I miss you mommy, mostly at night, why can't you come home now, you've been gone a long time, daddy wants you back too. I hear him crying sometimes at night, wondering how he can make it without you, but then the next day he is ok and is fine. Mommy please come home now. I miss you

And that night he dreamed

"My darling little boy, I miss you and your daddy so much, and although I'm happy now I'm also sad, for I can no longer hold you and kiss you and wipe away your tears, but always know I am with you, and to feel me close to you all you have to do is think of me. I love you but I can't come home in the way you want me to but I'll always be at home in your heart. My place is with God now, but He says I can always look out for you with Him, so whenever you are feeling lonely or blue, think of me and I'll be there with you, for my body might not be there, but my love for you will never die and you will always feel it close to you, now my sweet boy, have sweet dreams and know that I am always with you in your heart."

When he woke up he ran to tell his dad what he had dreamed "Daddy, mommy said she's with me and God told her that she can still look after me just like He does, all I have to do is think of her and she'll be there!"

His father smiled at him and decided that they were gonna be fine after all.
