My Little Corner

My Little Corner

I sit here and watch as the candle burns.
It dimly lights my little corner of the room.
With pen in hand I write all my thoughts.
Feelings write words that guide my pen.

There is always a subject I need to write.
Stays on my mind until I write its ending
The candles helps me to write my best.
My little corner gives me peace and rest.


I dream in my corner and find comfort.
Alone I ponder my thoughts in dim light.
I read what's written from my thoughts.
Is it okay with the feelings it's brought.

No better way I've found to any setting.
Write my poetry and bring out feelings.
Conveyed from my heart to you a part.
Next time you read my poem indeed.
