The Brightest Star By Quizmo LaGrande To golden light you pass, A dilemma not your own; Yet to those of us remaining An emergency was known. Though pounding intervention To stimulate you through, You choose to leave in quiet To a better world, you knew. A grander invitation, Handed you in leaf, You accepted in your wisdom And excused yourself from grief. No mischief meant your parting, You cared and taught with love, You're now the best and brightest Star Shining, keeping watch above. ~~***~~~
