Memories
there is a bond one shares with trees -a rare and heart felt bond

Memories
You touch,
the bark of a tree
and close the palm
of your hand.
Hoping the touch,
to remain
centuries.....at a stretch.
And then someday
in the future unfathomable
you might walk again to the tree
and feel the mirth,
of reunion..persistent
in the air.
