"Insomnia"
(01/17/02 - age 18) In the land of nowhere I rest my eyes To try to sleep I'm drained of all life's energy But slumber Can't be reached. A day goes by And then another. Quickly its been weeks. I'm seeing things That are not there Give me drugs, But just to sleep. Now I lay awake in darkness, But insomnia - It's been cured. So, I drift into unconsciousness And dream Of waking up.
