"Owe You So Much"
(written 4/12/01 - 4/13/01 -- 17 years old) If I had a nickel For every time You made me smile I’d be rich beyond compare. If I could come hug you Every time You dried my tears I’d embrace you for a thousand years. If the world could laugh Every time You changed my mind Only giggles would be heard. If a child could say more Every time You heard my silent cries He could speak every word. If only I could see you Every time You’ve helped me out We would never have to be apart. ********** Included in the 2002 edition of Labyrinth, my school's literary magazine.
