Just Yesterday You Were Okay
My denial, my loss, my grief...

Just yesterday
You were okay

The phone rings
To my answering machine

Tears in my mother’s voice
Don’t want to know, I want a choice

Don’t want to know
What I already know

If I don’t call back it won’t be so?
Can’t call back, I don’t want to know.
What I already know.

Rocking to and fro,
Will make the reality go?

Don’t want to know
What I already know

I didn’t get to say goodbye
I refuse to believe, it must be a lie.

Just yesterday
You were okay.
