If night was to conquer day, And mankind had lost its way On the path that it had taken, Then I will surrender. If all the good was undone, And the moon eclipsed the sun Over the land that is forsaken, Then I will surrender. If we can't amount in the eyes, Then we must remember the call And seek the way to be. If I could make everyone rise, At the cost of my own fall, Then let my soul free.
