Wind Wash Over Me
Let the wind cleanse my soul...

Let the wind wash over me, free me from my pain,
My demons have been vanquished, the monsters have
         been slain.
Let the light breeze flow across, taking away the          sorrow,
Take the dark feelings to the sky untill tomorrow.

Because at night the horrors always return to my          heart,
They slither and creep toward my head, never do          they part,
But each morn the wind whips up and blows away          the dark.
Slowly the draft brings in glee, which in my          heart will park.

Maybe someday the wind will no longer need to be          my guard,
But until then my soul will always be hit hard,
The pain, the agony, the sorrow always comes my          way,
Then they leave when the wind rises every day.

Let the wind wash over me, free me from my dread,
My demons have been vanquished, the monsters left          my head.
Let the light breeze flow across, taking away the          pain,
Take the dark feelings to the sky untill night          again.
