Let us end the saga of violence around us...let us look to live, not kill.

Looking to Live...New Year 2002


Lustful vengeance, vengeful lust

Spawning a pall of power, glory and mistrust

Seeping insidiously through centuries spewing
forth - calamities, poverty, disease, hunger and thirst

Oh! When shall this pall be pierced!




'Reigns of Terror' plaguing us

Through ages and across continents

Bogging us down with horror

Oh! When shall we rein in this terror!




Oh! When shall this horror cease!

When shall we peace unleash!

Violence the creed, terror the credo

Oh! When shall peace be our motto!




In this New Year, let us all pray that each one of us on this earth is able to contribute to world peace and be at peace with ourselves and with one another.
