In the time of magick
and warriors bold
a knight came forth
seeking fame and gold.

Summoned by the king was he
to hurry to the palace
and there he found the land was troubled
by a creature of great malice.

'Knight' said the king
'will you slay this foul dragon?'
'I shall you highness' he replied,
'and ill bring the head back in a wagon.'

The knight rode out
as the crowds cheered on
but when he reached the lair
the dragon was gone...

A blast of fire
came shooting past
the knight spun round
and drew his sword fast.

The knight swung his sword
but the dragon was slicker
then it struck back
and the flames began to flicker.

THe dragon lunged forward
the brave knight attacked
the sword met the scally neck
and the dragon's head was hacked.

The knight rode back
carrying the dragons head
the crowd cheered loudly
THE DRAGON IS DEAD!
