Pandora's Box
A passionate love poem

Fate brought our hearts to beat at the same time
But some strange connection lets them live as one
I felt in your words some magical presence that quenches my soul's thirst for affection
A resonant prayer beamed across miles of distance
I wish to take your hand and flee off to the farthest reaches of the endless universe
Descend unto me, fair cherub, and displace me from my depression into the heaven of your light
The tranquil domain of your love is enough to tame the most savage and sinful of beasts

More beauteous than Venus herself
even Andromeda couldn't compare to your graceful visage
Beneath which lies a kind and mysterious soul
You bestowed upon me your kindness,
which was unlike that from any girl I've known
You've welcomed me into your heart,
for which I give you my undying love and gratitude
I have found the missing piece of the puzzle
which fills the fragmented emptiness inside of me
The soulmate who I've searched for many times and failed
