Eve
A poem about lovers

Avg Rating: (3)
she embraces me with open lips
eyes wide and free
gentle sure hands touch me
with naked honesty
fingers tracing the contours of my self

i lean bodily into her arms
whispering encouragements
to guide and be lead
we play the game of giving
sharing vulnerabilities and fluids

the white sheets glow
in the starlit room
clarity is blurred between our flesh
as we lie in a spent tangle
a reflection of Eve
