A master writer is one that has the ability to exhibit skill and proficiency to relate experiences and ideas in a manner that impresses the reader. The impressions the readers are left with can be a myriad of emotions or opinions. The common factor, however, is the impression of excellence.
A master writer’s piece must answer these questions: Does this piece have quality or merit? Does it express an opinion or ideal in a clear and articulate manner? Is it free of major errors? Does it flow from one idea to the next in a logical manner? Is it interesting? Do I like it? Each reader is unique, as each writer is unique, but the essence of excellence of a master writer will always show through. It is this essence that defines a Master Writer.
