To the most wonderful person in the world
Who sparkles more than a string of pearls. Whose eyes are sapphires and show such love Making me soar on the wings of a dove. To the one who nurtured and gave me life And held my hand through trouble and strife Whose embrace can take my worries away And make me feel safe and keep fear at bay To the one who still worries, Even though I’m now grown. Whose words can inspire and liberate me Yet can still sting more than a bee To the most wonderful mother in the world There is something I think you should know Never be sad and never be blue For I shall always love you.
