Morning Dreams
You wake up every morning wishing as though it weren't a dream

I wake to the beautiful sun light
The birds are singing a beautiful tune
All feels of fatigue are gone as the night
Then I groan knowing the night went too soon

Safe arms are wrapped around me tight
Then my ears hear something new
A new song to my delight
It's all about me and you

Life couldn't get any better than this
To be waken in such a way
With a song and a kiss
How could I not want to stay?

I never thought it could occur
The man of my heart in my arms
Everything is as if it were
I had all the lucky charms

His breath warms my ear
His laugh awakens my sleepy nerves
Everything I've ever known doesn't seem so clear
It's as if life as thrown in just a few more curves

I wake to the beautiful sun light
The birds are singing a beautiful tune
All feelings of fatigue are gone as the night
Then I groan knowing the night went too soon
