Known Khaotic Datafiles

         The Second Armageddon Incident

This file contains information about the various Khaotics involved in the recent crisis that began with the escape of General Armageddon.  This file contains limited biographical data and an analysis of the abilities of the various Khaotics.  It does not detail the events themselves.  Please see the Historical Archives section for further information on the events themselves.

<Note, the files are here for historical curiosity. They are only current to the time the Alliance was assembled. They do not contain information discovered during or following the incident.>

War of Armageddon
The Armageddon Incident

The Alliance

The Alchemist/Vincent Neill
One of the survivors of the Armageddon War, and one of the Khaotics primarily responsible for the downfall of General Armageddon. He was unique in the Armageddon War as the only foreign citizen operating with the United States forces. He is a native of Canada.

As Alchemist, he was capable of generating an energy barrier between himself and the outside world that protected him.  He was also able to project bursts of energy that, while incapable of cause direct harm, were able to alter abiotic material into other forms.  Reported uses of this power included (but were never limited to) causing metallic weapons to rust instantaneously, transforming part of the air in a building into an anesthetic gas to render hostage takers unconcious, changing oxygen to carbon dioxide to put out a fire, and, most spectacularly, changing the air in General Armageddon's jet ports into hydrogen, thus causing an internal explosion which caused the power suit to shut down.

After the final battle of the Armageddon War, Alchemist vanished.  He was awarded a Paragon medal, but never arrived to claim it.  It was believed that he died while in hiding.  Another survivor of the Armageddon War, Grace Madding, revealed that he was, in fact, living near the Arctic Circle at the time. We do not have the details of how she tracked him down. All that is known is that is was a combination of business contacts, and a determination only rivaled by rabid pit bulls that enabled her to find him. Once he was located, a message was sent to him via Ethermail requesting his presence in Washington. He returned, minus his Alchemist identity, insisting on being known only as Vincent.

Metal Maiden/Grace Madding
At the time of General Armageddon's escape, Grace Madding was thought to be the only surviving participant of the Armageddon War. As such, she was considered a crucial recruit. She agreed to assist the newly forming Alliance, and proved her worth immediatly by locating the missing Vincent Neill.

Grace, at the time of the incident, was a top fashion designer. She owned a large clothing manufacturer of her own, and was well known as a very ethical, but very effective business woman. Due to a lodged Khaos particle, the passage of time had a limited effect on her, and she looked much as she did at the time of the Armageddon War.

As Metal Maiden, Grace was highly resiliant, perhaps second only to Paragon in the ability to shrug off damage. She was also phenomenally strong, and had some skill with Judo. At the time of the first meeting of the Alliance, she wore a form fitting body suit of a silvery material with golden veins running through it. Her outfits were always chosen to maximize visibility. As she put it, "I can wade through tank fire without a scratch. If they notice me, they'll shoot at me, and not someone else. I can take it."

Colonel Steven Mitchell
While not a Khaotic, Colonel Mitchell is included in this file due to his position as Military Coordinator with the Alliance. Not superhuman in any way, Mitchell still was a useful member of the team. He acted as a strategic advisor, and kept both Government forces and the Alliance informed of each other's actions.

Steven Mitchell was a military careerist of 20 years. He was rated as a top notch tactical officer as well as a combat vetran. He won the purple heart due to injuries sustained during a Khaotic attack on The White House. He lead a squad of six Steel Sentinels against the attacking force. His squad fought the group of eight Khaotic terrorists to a standstill until one of the squad discovered his own Khaotic powers. Mitchell was injured when the Diabolic Fragment detonated himself with Mitchell at point blank range. Mitchell's suit was penetrated in numerous places, but nothing critical was hit. The wounds to his arms and legs, however, removed him from active duty as a Steel Sentinel.

Squadron/Major Barry Hawks
The only other US military member of The Alliance. Major Hawks was also one of the Steel Sentinels lead by Colonel Mitchell at the White House attack. During the fight, his suit was torn apart by the Diabolic, Psiblade. As the Diabolic moved in for the kill, he found himself surrounded by a group of men that looked identical to the Major.

As Major Hawks discovered, he was able to create dupicates of himself. He also had increased strength and stamina. Combined with his combat training, he was a formidable fighter in his own right. Coupled with the ability to create up to fifteen identical duplicates, all of whom shared a mental link with him, he was a devastating force. He later discovered that if one of the duplicates should be destroyed, he can, over time, heal the damage, and eventually produce a new duplicate. At the first meeting of the Alliance, he was also outfitted with a military personal flight pack. Strangely enough, as long as Major Hawks was using the flight pack, his duplicates were able to fly. If the pack were damaged or shut down, all duplicates lost their flight as well.

Samantha MacAvee/Craze
The third American member of the Alliance, MacAvee was a contrast to the military men. Samantha was institutionalized for several years after her 18th birthday when she suddenly started hearing voices. It turned out her Khaos alteration was manifesting, providing her with uncontrolled telepathy. The voices she heard were the thoughts of those in close proximity to her. This was eventually detected and she was trianed to control her power, but she never found a way to completely shut it off.

Craze is constantly bombared by the thoughts of everyone within about 50 meters of her. She can tone the reading down to where she doesn't hear coherent voices, but it always serves as a background noise in her head. She cannot get very much specific information without intense concentration. It would be like you or I trying to listen to a conversation five rows up at a rock concert. It does provide certain advantages, however. She is a very able fighter, since she knows what an opponent is going to do before it is done. She can locate people with severe mental abnormalities and personality disorders by opening her mind up and listening for the unique signatures such people leave. She is also able to obtain and process information far faster than most people.

Kim Eun Ju/Steel Dragon
A well known hero in her native South Korea, Ms. Kim is a genius with mechanics technology. She operates within an advanced power suit with a large number of capbilities. Ms. Kim was the first foreign citizen requested to join the Alliance. She was included for her technical skills, and her formidable power suit.

Ms. Kim was born in Seoul twenty five years ago to a very wealthy family. She was an exceptional prodigy, probaly Khaotic. By the age of 10 she had grasped priciples of physics, computer programming, and robotics beyond the grasp of most adults of the time. Her learing expanded exponentially after that. It is considered fact that no one without khaotic augmentation could posses such a vast pool of knowledge, gained in such a short span of time.

The Steel Dragon armor was designed and built by Ms. Kim. The unit is sleek and graceful, looking more like a futuristic lawn ornament than a weapon. Its appearance has lulled many opponents into a false sense of security. The suit is very flexible, but it is proteced by fields of quantum shielding. The suit draws power from the earth's own magnetic fields and transforms the energy to create a vast number of effects. The whole skin of the suit can emit powerful blasts of energy, in various forms and strengths, create 'quantum spheres' to trap opponents, and generate 'graviton beams' to hold assailants motionless.

Talib Adila/Momentum
At 18 years of age, Mr. Adila was the youngest member if the Alliance. Mr. Adila was a student at UC Berkely at the time of Armageddon's escape. He was on a student Visa at the time, being a citizen of Kenya. While in the United States, Mr. Adila made no secret of his Khaos alterations, and his identity of Swift Seeker.

As Momentum, Mr. Adila was able to completely control his own momentum. He was able to run at incredible speeds. Not only along the ground, he could ascend and descend vertical surfaces as well, and run across liquid and semisolid serfices. He could also store and realease his momentum at will. This enabled him to send blasts of force against opponents, throw objects around, disarm opponents by imparting momentum to their weapons, and perform a number of other amazing feats.

Shader/Identity unknown
Very little is known about the Khaotic known as Shader, except that he had taken up a one man crusade against the organization, Ravenscar. He operated in Continental Europe primarily, but had been sighted in Great Britian, Greenland, Iceland, and throughout the Middle East. His inclusion in the Alliance brought concern from many sides, but Colonel Mitchell's argument that they needed somebody that knew Ravenscar finally won out.

Shader appeared to be a man of medium height and build swarmed by shadows. No matter what lighting he was under, his face was always hidden by shadow. His hands were often cloaked as well, a trait which has often allowed him to draw the firearm he carries without being noticed. The origin of the strange weapon is also a mystery.

Shader's primary abilities seem to be psychic in nature. He can project terror into a victim, sometimes so severe that it incapacitates the victim. He can also create hallucinations in people, and read their thoughts. He has evidence no ability to control the minds of others to date. He also seems to be able to step into a shadow and out of another without crossing intervening space, and disapear into shade, although this may be psionic in nature, in effect creating the illusion that he is not there.

Possibly his greatest talent may not have been khaotic in nature at all. He seemed to have an incredible talent for ferreting out information. He seemed to know a great deal about every member of the Alliance at the first meeting.

Ravenscar
From it's inception, this organization was suited to covert action. They sought to bring monarchical dictatorships to the nations of the world, with their leadership at the heads. As an organized, secret force, they might have been able to accomplish their goals.

Fortunatly for the world, they were not a well organized covert organization. Their leaders were arrogant, thinking their well trained, well equiped soldiers would be enough to defeat the world's defenders. They might well have been, if the world did not have Khaotics. Their distrust of all Khaotics, who did not belong to the 'Pure Bloodlines' of their leadership was a long standing joke in the world. They not only fought Paragons, but also Diabolics in their desire to eliminate the competition. This lead to many disasterous battles and loss after loss. It was thought they would drive themselves to extinction, but they seemed to keep afloat, just barely. Then something happened twenty years ago that changed them. They learned to make Khaotics they could trust themselves.

It has long been thought to be impossible to synthisize Khaos particles, but somehow, Ravenscar did it. They are now capable of creating their own Khaotics. They also seem to be able to customize them to suit their own needs. They cannot induce the raw power that some of the mightiest Khaotics posess, and they cannot seem to create an unlimited army of Khaotics, but they have been able to challenge the Khaotic defenders, and even kill a number of Khaotics in their desire for conquest. Their losses are becoming fewer. They have yet to take over a sovereign nation, but they have been able to gather funds, steal equipment, and assasinate a few key figures. They have gone from joke to Top Rated Threat in two decades. And now, it seems, they have General Armageddon.

They do have some concerted opposition. The Khaotic Shader has been waging a war with them throughout Europe and into other continents as well, and seems to have a great deal of knowledge of them. It is theorized that he is a creation of theirs, although how that could be possible considering their reputed paranoia, no one knows. The organization Charybdis has taken notice of their sucess, as well as their theft of Charybdis equipment and vowed to wipe them from the planet. And, of course, Khaotics sanctioned by the governements they have already attacked and many others not yet assulted have orders to take this organization down with all speed.

The story begins with "Chapter 1.
